What will a session look like?
In-home Session
Victoria partners with you and your child to support communication and feeding milestones. For early language and feeding development, she uses a caregiver‑coaching approach. At each visit, Victoria will ask how strategies have worked since the last session and review any health updates. Together, you will set a plan for the session. Victoria will first model strategies with your child, then invite you to practice while she observes. She will offer reflective questions and feedback, and together you will decide what growth opportunities to focus on between sessions. For speech sound or more advanced language concerns she may suggest a direct intervention model with suggested carryover strategies for parents.Â
Victoria partners with you to support your child's communication and feeding milestones by meeting your child where the are in the community. She will pick up your child from their classroom and receive updates from your child's teacher when possible. Victoria will then work with your child in a place provided by their school which may be in a section of the classroom or in another available room. Victoria will provide direct intervention with your child in a positive supported manner. When the session conclude she will bring your child back to their teacher and provide strategies for success in the classroom when applicable.
